    No the BS6 engine doesn't reduce the performance or the exhaust note.In fact it has a better note than the BS4 model.Hope this helps! Happy riding!

    Yes no doubt . Extra catalytic converter is fixed in exhaust of BS 6 RE 650. BS 6 has negligible power & Torque loss compared to its predecessor.
