• Q. I'm planning to buy meteor 350I took test ride, and I don't like the heel shifter (stock gear shifter)Can I change it ?Please advise.

    It can probably be adapted or you can just ignore the heel changer & use the normal toe shifter for up & down, but - having said that, it took me two rides to get used to it & now I'm ok with it. It takes some getting used to but once you're used to it, it's ok, a bit clunky but ok.

    I own a Meteor and didn't like the heel shifter either even though I tried to get used to it. The shifter shaft is splined though and you can slip it off and rotate the toe portion so that you can actually get your toe underneath it.
