• Q. I have recently bought an apache rtr 200 4v bs6 with riding modes. Everything works best in rain mode and urban mode. But in sports mode, as soon as i get to 2nd gear, (or cross 30 kmph) rpm limit light comes and stays on forever. Rpm limit seems to be set to a very low number in sports mode. I don't see a way to change it. How do i fix it?

In sports mode if you observe the gear position indicator it says to lower the gear if you are riding at low rpm so the RPM light keeps on glowing and it will turn off at high rpm and turn on again when rpm reaches redline near 9000rpm because it is tuned for racing and extracting maximum power in each gear. But in Urban mode it is turned for riding casually so even at normal rpm (3000-4000 rpm) it will not say to lower the gear nor the RPM light glows constantly but it will glow if rpm is too low

  • Good to buy this bike

Having the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V as my travel companion for the past 8 months has been nothing short of exciting. The bike with its power of 20.82 PS at 9000 rpm and torque of 17.25 Nm at 7250 rpm offers a punchy performance that is hard to match in its category. The slipper clutch is a ultimate option in heavy traffic and the ride quality is top notch, courtesy of its race tuned KYB suspension. The aggressive riding stance is not for everyone and can cause discomfort on longer rides.

  • wheels with style and smoothness

Quite recently, I went out on my TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, which proved to be hassle-free. Although it's difficult to take two-wheelers on the road for a long journey, this made it possible for me as it provides a good range, mileage and good ground clearance. The looks are attractive and surely turn heads on the road. I recommended it to my brother and my friend; both have planned to get this model for themselves to save on daily commutes and experience rides of great quality. The price is also affordable and is available in all showrooms.
