Q. I bought the FZS V3 2019 2 weeks ago. Initial 2 days I felt the engine is smooth. But as the days went on I am not at all happy with the performance. I feel Harder engine, Hard Engine sound, No Pickup. Is this the common issue before 1st service or anything problem in engine. Also couple of times lets say for some 4 kms in 2 weeks I might have taken it till 57 Kmph. But not continuously or intentionally. But I am 99% of the time within 40kmph & less than 4000 Rpm. Will the performance and engine sound be rectified after 1st service?

I also bought fz v3 in may 2019.bike is fantastic.same problem of engine heating and roughness.but thats not a issue at all.Just change the engine oil immediately to motul 3100 20w50 u see immediate change .drive it for 500kms and then do ur first service and use motul 5100 15w50 semi synthetic.it will do wonders.its all because yamaha l**e oil its crap.

No it is not common issue You to yamaha web page there will be one toll free number call on that and complain there don't go to show in service centerIt is big issue do not take it easy

Before buying you should know that the engine gives linear performance , it's not something like in the hornet or gixxer & 13bhp power is for commuting ride mainly . Sound will improved after first service they will also give a carbon cleaner liquid performance will increase a bit too including mileage

Most probably after the first service the engine may feel like more smoother. Chances of a brand new engine mess up the engine oil quickly is higher. It is beacuse of the friction debrises mostly. Thatz why they change the oil with in first 1000kms

After 2nd service, my vehicle sound is completely changed, feels uncomfortable with riding, assuming some parts are taken out and replaced old item
