Maintenance cost is very less and you might be changing the chain sprocket once or twice in 20,000kms and the self motor might come to a replacement verge after 20,000kms no changing or replacing any other parts. It's good to go. But after your free services are done I suggest you to get your paid services done outside yamaha because the service charge the labour the the (sanitation charge which is new add on ) will drain you financially. Go to Jc road or sp road like we have in bangalore and buy or replace any parts if worn out. Don't go to yamaha. They charge a hefty amount

Oh boy I can't stop laughing 😂😂😂, it's super fake, even maintenance of car will not charge you that much per month. FZ is very refined and reliable bike, for regular free service it's cost between 400 to 800 and paid servicing will cost you around 1000 or 1500 ( if no major parts changed). Since it's a Fuel injection based bike so you need to always maintain at least 2 LTR petrol in fuel tank otherwise fuel pump may get damaged, and fuel pump replacement will cost you anywhere between 9000 to 14000.

FZ Fi i have. An approx 500 to 800 bucks are spent every time i get it serviced every 45-60 days. The fuel average for me is above 40 as i take it for longer commutes.  Also, just one pointer for you. Since its chain is exposed, you have to get its chain cleaned/sprayed on every service else it starts making grinding sound. So that is an extra 80-100 bucks with every service.

You have got some fake news. It's maintenance is just to change the oil, oil filter, air filter and the last but not the least Disc pads or brake liner after some period of time or  km or as per your usage, but not at the end of the month.

Monthly maintenance depends upon your riding style, road condition and most importantly the kms you ride. it needs around 2000-2500 per 3000-3500kms.
