I have Splendor Plus BS6 model, purchased 3 months back during lockdown. My bike's engine suddenly stops while runninng; not in a particular situation, it stops when I fully hold the clutch or when shifting gear or when I am in 1st/2nd gear. What may be the problem ? As because this is a FI engine, there is no question arises to tune the bike. Please give me advice.

I am facing the same issue. at first i used to think that this may be happening because my bike is cold and i am riding it for the first time in the morning. But this happened when i was out in the traffic and the bike was properly warm. I was in third gear and as i squeezed the clutch lever in and shifted to second and gradually released the clutch in not a swift manner but normal way, the bike stalled and skidded, but as the handle was straight so nothing happened, and i was safe. This is very irritating and not at all safe in the traffic . Very disappointed with this tech or whatever it is. Old splendors never had this issue. What's the point of using these much sensors. My bike has just clocked 228 KMS and these issues are making me regret my purchase. (-_-)

My family always prefer the Splendor over the other bikes in the past. But I recently buy Splendor plus for my self in Dec 2020. I'm really regretting it right away. I bought the model without i3s feature but its engine still stops even when you change gear while riding. its really bad for the driver. First I thought something wrong with my bike but I also speak with other Owner at service center they all are facing the same issue and Service center guy simply says we don't have any solution for this issue. From now on I'm sure about that this was the last Hero bike which I bought.

I am also facing the same issue, I purchased Splendor Plus BS VI during Feb2021. Engine gets automatically stopped even when am on the move. This is extremely unsafe as when the bike stops unexpectedly, it skids and this has happened once and luckily I was wearing helmet when I fell down and no pillion was there. I was a splendor owner of 2009 model for 10 years and am experienced with the old splendor and I have never faced this issue with that model. I had complained to the authorized dealer from whom I purchased the bike multiple times and they had tried to fix the same but in vain. I think the only option left is for the manufacturer to do something about this and recall and fix the glitches. This new model is such a disappointment especially when it comes to safety. I can see that many other buyers have also faced this issue when I go through the comments, would request Zigwheels to convey the issue to Hero Motor corp. and help us get a resolution as quickly as possible as it concerns the safety of riders who had trusted Hero Motor corp.

The Hero Splendor BS6 comes equipped with a feature called the Idle Stop Start System (i3s) which turns off the engine while it idles for more than 5 seconds in traffic. The engine comes back to life by simply pressing the clutch. However, if you are facing an issue and the engine shuts off when not in idle condition, then we'd suggest you to visit the nearest authorized service center and they would be able to assist you better after the inspection.

I am also having Full black colour splendor plus bs6 model bought in April 2021.Till my first service i never faced any issue but after that i am also experiencin similar problems.When the bike starts first time it does not show any problem.it even moves to a few distance like 1 KM but after that if we shift down the gear to 2nd or 1st frim 4th gear the bike shuts down.Also another thing i noticed is that if in the morning the bike is completely cold and we starts it then for half kilometres the bike auto accelerates.even if we don't raise the accelerator then too the bike moves on its own.My conclusion to this is either the fuel injector carburettor is faulty or the company has programmed the sensors in such a way that these issues happens.i had searched in multiple place in internet regarding this & there i found out that mostly bikes of bs6 category with fuel injection technology are having this issues

Friend bought bs6 splendor and has same issue. We are from Kerala, technicians came even from Delhi and Bangalore and still the issue not resolved. It's a major factor defect. Kindly help on this. I am facing same engine idle issue even when I am on 1st or 2end gear with full clach squized condition with 0 rpm and then quick accessalation specially on intersections areas. After engine idle RMP increase heavy vibration is coming after riding 1 hr around and more. Not happy with this machine.

Get the vehicle to service centre and force them to scan your bike with ASLI HERO VCI SCANNER.if the scanner shows the error like (P0106-Powertrain) error or (P16AA-Powertrain) error then the bike might be having a sensor complaint issue which is inside the fuel injector.I was also having the same issue & i checked my bike personally with an obd scanner and it showed these 2 errors

It mat shift problem or clutch problem nothing else. You should go to Hero Service Center as you bike is in warranty as well as in free service. I recommend you not to go anywhere else.

In my case there are 2 issue 1st sometimes bike self accelerate in breathing or pulsing pattern and that time is doesn't work because bike is accelerating and 2nd same as your but bike turn off when slow down in 1 gear and even if i3s is off usually happens in traffic only for me and no where else

Facing similar issue. Engine stops automatically in 1st gear even if we are releasing clutch lever to disengage from 2nd to 1st gear. Usually happens on speed braker when speed is around 5 to 10. I think i3s does this. Not sure. I will ride with i3s off and update the results here

Not a big issue. I was same issue. Check engine idle speed. If its below 1250 than increase 1250-1400. Your problem will be solved.
