Q. Being a college student and long riding for 1-2 times a month,Should I huy interceptor 650? Considering mileage and maintenance costs?

The Interceptor 650 is a reliable bike and is suitable for long rides with a fuel economy of 25-30kms/ltr.But the only requirement is to keep the battery in a charged condition by running the engine in idle for 10-15 minutes every 7-10days.So you are good to start your ride whenever you want to.Hope this helps! Int650 is very good bike. You would certainly enjoy. Also consider that a 650 cc bike is available at this price point. Awesome.You will get fuel economy of about 26 - 32 depends on city / highway ride & your riding style.Now you need to take a call whether you want to consider this as reasonable or no.Bike is certainly worth it & exciting too.

I will suggest Himalayan instead of INT 650 . Himalayan is good for long drive & Off roading , Mileage is better than INT 650. I am sure the new Himalayan will thrill more than INT 650. Please go for intense test ride before arriving decision
