Working good

2.0

The car is spacious no doubt and it takes a large parking space. It is difficult to turn in smaller places. The car once had a breakdown and getting the parts was very difficult and really expensive. It's good only as long as it is working good, Then the rip off starts.

Kiran S's Hector 2021-2023 gives mileage of 8 kmpl

Recently Asked User Questions and Answers

Q. What safety features are available in MG Hector?
  • On the safety front, it gets six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and a 360-degree camera.
Q. What's the difference between dct&cvt?
  • A dual-clutch transmission (DCT) uses two separate shafts with their own clutches for gear shifts: one shaft for odd-numbered gears and the other for even-numbered gears. This type of automatic transmission is purely a performance-oriented transmission that also delivers good fuel efficiency but comes at a penalty of higher manufacturing cost. On the other hand, a CVT uses pulleys or belts for gear shifting. The use of belts or pulleys instead of steel gears results in variable gear ratios dependent on engine speed or RPM. As a result, this helps it deliver better fuel economy and a smooth and jerk-free drive. Read More: - Automatic Transmissions: DCT vs CVT vs AMT vs Torque Converter
Q. Hector sharp variant comes with non hybrid ?
  • The MG Hector Sharp variant is offered with the turbo-petrol engine with the option of a 48V mild-hybrid system, however with only a 6-speed MT gearbox. The automatic Sharp variants are offered with the non-hybrid engine.
