KTM has confirmed the upcoming RC 490, marking the revival of its long-awaited 490cc twin-cylinder platform. It is developed by KTM and Bajaj, the motorcycle is expected to be manufactured at Bajaj's Chakan plant and could replace the existing RC 390 – high time as it has become a bit too long in the tooth. The RC 490 is now expected to debut by late 2027, with the platform also likely to spawn more models in the future. Expect the India launch to happen some time around 2028.
