Honda CB500

The Honda CB500 was recently unveiled and is a neo-retro roadster based on its smaller sibling, the CB350 Hness. However, it gets a bigger, more powerful 501cc engine that would make it much quicker.

Price: The Honda CB 500 costs Rs 2,75,000 for the Alloy model, the Spoke variant costs Rs 2,99,900. On the other hand, the top variant, Spoke with Stripes, is priced at Rs 3,01,900. All prices are ex-showroom Bangalore.

Design: The CB500 takes its design inspiration from the smaller CB350 Hness. It has a muscular tank, a long and spacious seat, and a wide handlebar. The bike gets generous chrome elements, which give it a premium look, while the cross-spoke tubeless wheels also aid its retro appeal without sacrificing practicality. Overall, the bike has a simple yet handsome design that will appeal to a lot of buyers. The bike comes in 5 eye-catching colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Rebel Red Metallic 2, Mat Steel Silver Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Pearl Igneous Black.

Features: The bike gets a semi-digital instrument console. It gets all-LED lighting. On the safety front it gets traction control and dual-channel ABS as standard.

Engine: It is powered by a 501 cc air/oil-cooled engine. It produces 28.1 PS and 43.3 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The bike gets a steel tube frame. Suspension duties are taken care of by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The bike gets disc brakes at both ends.

Variants: The Honda CB500 will be available in 3 variants: Alloy, Spoke Tubeless, and Spoke Tubeless with Graphics.
