Tesla India Motors & Energy Pvt Ltd will serve as Tesla’s Indian arm, with sales operations expected to begin in 2021 itself. However, the company hasn’t issued any confirmations on its launch plans or strategy for India just yet. That said, the brand is expected to start things off with the Model 3 sedan.
