Mercedes-Benz EQC Electric | India’s First Luxury Electric SUV

The Mercedes EQC will be the latest all-electric available in the subcontinent this festive season and it also aims to be the first luxury electric SUV as well. But is it properly luxury? With the same dimensions in width, wheelbase and height but it’s just a little longer overall. It’s powered by two electric motors on both axles with a total power output of 408PS & 760Nm. The 80kWh battery pack is good for a claimed 450+ km range as per the new european driving cycle but adds 652kgs to the kerb weight seeing the EQC top the scales at just about 2.5 tons.
