Jeep Commander (Meridian) | What You Need To Know | The Baby Grand Cherokee

The Jeep Commander is a 7-seater SUV based on the Jeep Compass. The SUV has been spotted on test in India and rumours suggest it may be renamed to the Jeep Meridian for the Indian market. Launched in Brazil earlier in 2021, the Commander has been spotted testing in India though Jeep has not confirmed any launch plans at the time of making this video. The Commander/Meridian shared most of its packaging with the Compass, but offers it with the benefit of more seating/storage space. It is also expected to get the same diesel engine as the Compass but in a higher state of tune. The features list is largely similar to Compass as well with goodies like a 10.1 inch touchscreen, 10.25 inch digital cluster, dual zone climate control, powered front seats and a big sunroof. And since the Brazil spec car we’ve seen does have some advanced driver assistance (ADAS) features, which we are hoping to see offered here as well.
