Honda has teased a new bike for the India market. The upcoming Honda bike will not only be the first made in India Honda ADV, but also its most affordable ADV bike from the Japanese giant. The new Honda ADV motorcycle could be called the NX200 in India. It will not be an all-new bike and is likely to be based on the Honda Hornet 2.0. The design cues are supposed to be inspired from the Honda CX-02 concept showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo and the Honda CB190X.
The Honda CB190X ADV is sold in the Chinese market with long travel suspension, whether we will get the same in India is up for debate. The Honda NX200 will share its frame, engine and braking hardware with the Honda Hornet 2.0. We also expect the LCD instrument cluster to be carried forward. The Honda NX200 will not be a hardcore off-road bike but more of a ADV tourer. The Honda ADV bike will make its India debut on August 19 and might carry a price tag of around Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
