After unveiling the 502C earlier this month, Benelli has finally launched it in India. It’s based on the same engine platform as the Leoncino 500, but looks and feels like a very different motorcycle. It’s a proper modern, urban cruiser and has been priced at Rs 4.98 lakh. Design-wise, the Benelli 502C seems to have taken inspiration from the Ducati Diavel while retaining some originality. Until Honda launches the Rebel 500 in India, or Royal Enfield, their 650cc cruiser, the Benelli 502C will remain the only modern cruiser available in the middle-weight segment.
