Mustang 2016-2020 Key Highlights
Features: For the enthusiast, the Mustang comes with drive modes and line lock. The latter allows you to lock the front wheels and freely spin the rear wheels for warming them up for better grip during launches. You could also continue to spin until they cry for mercy. Other highlights include Ford’s Sync infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, a coloured multi-info display, HID headlamps, eight airbags and traction control.
Engine: The Ford Mustang is powered by a stomping 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 motor that puts out 401 horses and 515Nm of outright twist. All that force is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. Nope, you can’t have a Mustang with a manual gearbox in India. Sizewise, the Mustang is 4784mm long, 2080mm wide and 1391mm tall. It has a 2720mm wheelbase
Rivals: The Ford Mustang doesn’t have any direct rivals in the Indian market. Overseas, it locks horns with the Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Corvette.
Variants: The Ford Mustang is offered in six shades: yellow, red, black, white, silver and grey. It comes in one variant only.
