- https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/royal-enfield-himalayan-bs6-road-test-review/37680/" data-repliedtouser="Zigwheels" > I would say ,there is no point in comparing between a 250 cc with a 400 or 500 cc bike , for a ladakh trip ,where the roads arent just tarmac ,you will experience all kinds of terrains , KTM has bravely launched the 390 adventure to go anywhere ,on any type of roads . And yes bajaj 400 has proved itself by finishing a polar Oddessy ride from artic to Antartic .As well as from Banglore to Sydney .whereas i havent seen a royal enfield himalayan doing this .i prefer 390 adventure for ladakh than a 250cc duke .But a point to be noted here is 250 dukes have successfully finished a ladakh ride by many of the owners of the same .
- https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/royal-enfield-himalayan-bs6-road-test-review/37680/" data-repliedtouser="Zigwheels" > I would put the Himalayan as the first choice, as it is the bike made for the purpose. However if the choice is between the other two then definitely the Choice would be dominar.... This bike has proven its mantle as many a riders have done bigger rides with this bike.
- If you like the looks of Duke 390 but do not want so much power in bike, you can go for Duke 250.Duke 250 is significantly pricier than 200 but comes with certain advantages like the impressive design similar to 390, dual channel ABS, a balanced engine which makes it an all-rounder whether you ride within the city or on highways.Duke 200 has its own attractive design, a powerful engine and price advantage.
- If u dont care about latest styling go for duke 200. If u want latest styling go for Duke 250. Mileage is almost same. Duke 250 cost ~35 k more.Duke 200 has single channel ABS rear wheel can lock on hard braking. Duke 250 has dual channel ABS so no worries of wheel getting locked on hard braking. Duke 250 is heavier in weight. I bought Duke 250.
- Duke 200 and Duke 250 both are bikes are best in its performance. But, Duke 200 have more demerits or drawbacks as compared to Duke 250. Both have best riding experience due to its power to weight ratio. Maintenance of Duke 200 and 250 are around same. I recommend you to go for Duke 250 because It is best in its segment. The only demerit of Duke 250 is Lack of ABS. So, instead of this Bike is Superb. Go for DUKE 250. I hope my answer is helpful to you.

Overall performance is good in a 250cc single cylinder motor. cranked at a speed of 151 with pillion. Touring a 900km stretch with pillion, reached in 19hours continues drive. only maintained the chain lubricant once in that trip. pillion comfort is not good for fat persons either its 250 or 390, the overall pillion comfort is average. mileage is great lowest mileage when i fully throttle it gives me 28 average i get 33,34 and more mileage i get when i ride smoothly on highways gets around 40+ Anyway, i'm satisfied with the bike

this bike is a bang for your buck!!I chose this bike over the 200 Duke because I wanted more power.I thought Im unnecessarily spend extra but now that I own it definitely worth it...more so than Duke 200 also. I've rode for 500kms now and its simply the best 250cc I've rode. If you want lesser power the Duke 200 is always an option but the power delivery on this one feels like 400cc. around the city so far I've got on average 23kmpl and highway gave me 36kmpl.

Great bike with good power and mileage. The heating of the bike is very less when compared to bs4 duke 250. While touring the seat is bit stiff it cause a small discomfort other that no other problem is there it's just perfect for a person who want power and mileage .

Ktm duke is a perfect beast comes with finominal average. THE bike IS LIKE 30 BHP AND WITH 30 BHP YOU ARE GETTING AN AVERAGE OF UPTO 40 ON HIGHWAYS ON DECENT SPEED. I KNOW THAT DUKE 250 IS SILENT BEAST COKE WITH A ROARRRRRRRRR.

1. Superb Ergonomics. Apt for me (my height is 6ft). But definitely need an extender for Long Rides since the Wind shield will be shorter for people like me. 2. Definitely value for money. Since your servicing will be within a span of 6 months.(Excluding the first).3. In 1st Gear, I picked up a speed of 40. So I guess I will surely achieve a speed of 90-100 KMPH without any hiccups.4. Luggage friendly. You don't have to worry about basic luggage's which you may carry for occasional rides. ( Reach today and get back tomorrow types)I will definitely recommend Himalayan for those who wants some fresh air on weekends.

Had to change a tire because of a manufacturing defect which even the company didn't pay for.Doubt the quality assurance department of royal enfield.Engine malfunctioned twice within 5 months of purchase for which service center charged a lot.The parts and the services provided by the royal enfield is of low quality.I dreamt of going to ladakh on this bike but it can't withstand the roads of delhi.

It's a beautiful bike. Simple, reliable, and powerful enough. Off roading in the trails, the bike destroys obstacles and moves forward with at most ease. It does struggle sometimes in heavy off roads but nonetheless clears it without any niggles. Brilliant bike, hats off to Royal Enfield.

Compared to the bs4 avatar, The new bs6 royal enfield himalayan is 5kgs heavier. However, The bike is still as easy to ride as it was before.Because of the low seat height controlling the bike is also not a hassle, Whether it be highways or off-road.I love my himalayan very much.

Great motorcycle by royal enfield.I am an owner of this bike who has ridden it for around 1000km and i have to say great work and effort has been done by the royal enfield with the engine refinement, Vibrations, Breaking, Comfort. The tripper on my bike doesn't work.It gets connected just at the very beginning and gives me the direction at that time but after that the directions don't change and i have to stop my bike just to see a different direction on it.This thing pisses me off.But the bike is superb overall.

Perfect value for money. No regret of buying such a wonderful machine.Show stopper in the road while riding this black beauty.Down sides :1.Quality of rear view mirror ( better to have rectangle mirror to cover much scene from behind.I have fixed mirror from bajaj avenger which gives more confident and coverage while on road.)2.No use of navigator, It drains your mobile batter power fast ( its just an ornamental digital clock )3.Poor ergonomics in positioning of horn and the day flash switch.

Good bike with style and appeal. One can easily cruise a long distance.M owing one.I feel light while riding this monster. The best part is its tipper navigation. No need to put mobile and worry for rains and all.The only con which i see is its heating issue. But the mighty 350 cc engine will emit heat.

I am a proud owner of this bike.As on today, I am completely satisfied with the performance of this bike. The first service cost is just rs.663/-, Which is very low.It gives me a mileage of 37kmpl ( before 1st service), Which just adds me a smile in my face.
