Pros:smooth driving, Good pick up, Maximum book space in class(591 lts), Comfortable seats for all five even for long drive, Low maintenance, Good service centre experience, Good build quality as it has score 4* in global (ncap)toyota engine are smooth and more durable compare to other companies cons:after sales service is not so good, Ground clearance is little low mileage in city(10-12km/ltr)mileage on high way(15km/lts)light through is less good car for long running, And required toyota engine reliability

Q. I am getting only 12 kmpl in city and 14kmpl in highways in my Toyota Platinum Etios VX petrol model. Any chance to improve the mileage and how much mileage are you getting on your toyota platinum etios petrol vx model in both city and highways?
  • A petrol engine gives a mileage of around 13.5 kmpl in city driving conditions and 16.78Kmpl when driving on highways. In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, we would suggest you drive slower. Driving fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are traveling above 60 kmph. There are some points that you can keep in mind while driving such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your car, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the car unnecessarily, drive your car at economical speeds, etc. Moreover, the Toyota Platinum Etios has been discontinued and is not available for sale in the market.Read More: - Driving tips to improve mileage
  • Yes mileage may increase. It depends on your driving efficiency. i.e. accelerate the speed as required its help to reduce use of Brake in city drive. And in highway don't accelerate speed more than 80 kmph. which help to decrease condominium of fuel .
  • This looks decent. Compay itself is telling 16.7 or something. If you are maintaining 50-80kmph speed in highways, you might get somewhere close to 15/16.
