Toyota C-HR

The Toyota C-HR is a Hyryder-sized crossover that’s sold in international markets. One can consider it a sporty-looking vehicle when compared to the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara. The Toyota C-HR has been spotted on tests on multiple occasions in India, but it won’t be introduced here anytime soon.

Features: The Toyota C-HR in the international market is packed with features like LED headlights with DRLs, a panoramic glass roof, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IRVM, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, heads-up display, wireless phone charger and 9-speaker JBL music system. Safety features include 10 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, ISOFIX and ADAS.

Engine: The Toyota C-HR comes in two hybrid powertrain options: one with a 1.8-litre unit that delivers an output of 140 PS and 142 Nm and another with a 2.0-litre unit that generates 198.5 PS and 188 Nm. A7-step CVT is standard to both the powertrains and opting for the larger hybrid powertrain means you get all-wheel drive. It measures 4362 mm in length, 1832 mm in width and 1558 mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2640 mm.

Rivals: The Toyota C-HR will not be launched in India anytime soon. But you can consider it as a rival to cars like the Hyundai Creta, Tata Curvv, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara and VW Taigun.

Variants: The Toyota C-HR is available in three broad trims in the Australian market: GXL, Koba, GR-Sport.
