We spotted a Tork electric scooter being tested alongside the upcoming Tork electric bike. More about it in our exclusive story here. With brands like Ola, Ather and TVS getting success with their affordable electric scooters, Tork might want to get a share of that pie.
The test mule had a spacious, wide seat, behind which it could get a large pillion grab rail. It gets twin shocks and it seems to have a hub motor, both of which will help in cost saving.
Its launch could take place towards the end of 2024 at a price of around Rs 1 lakh. We expect it to be more of an affordable, practical scooter for the family to go up against the likes of the TVS iQube, Ather 450S and the Ola S1X.
