Price: The Kinetic DX range price starts from Rs 1,11,499 (ex- showroom, Pune) and is available in 2 variants, DX and DX Plus. The DX Plus is either available with a 2.6 kWh battery pack or a larger 3.1kWh battery, with varying range, power figures and other specifications.
Design: The Kinetic DX takes strong design inspiration from the original two-stroke DX of the 1990s. It retains the iconic horizontal headlamp, but in a modern LED setup, along with a prominent Kinetic logo on the windscreen and three-spoke alloy wheels. It is available in five colour options: White, Black, Red, Blue, and Silver.
Features: The scooter gets a keyless unlocking system instead of a physical key, which requires you to enter a PIN to start, standard across all variants. Hill hold, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, regenerative braking, reverse mode, large 37-litre undereat storage area all common across all the variants. It gets a 760 W inbuilt charger with a retractable cable for better convenience (but that’s exclusive to the DX Plus variant). Remote seat and charger flap opening, find-my-scooter, tracker, guide-me-home-lights are exclusive only to the DX Plus variant. On the safety front, the scooter has a combined braking system (CBS) across all variants.
Motor: The scooter is available in two different variants: DX and the DX Plus. The DX Plus features a 3.1 kWh battery pack, which is paired to a 3.8 KW motor, giving the scooter claimed Indian driving conditions (IDC) of 132 km on a single charge. The DX Plus is also available in 2.6kWh battery variant, offering 105km claimed range, with the electric motor making 4.78kW of peak power. Whereas, the 2.6 kWh battery pack on the DX gets a more powerful 4.77 kW motor with a claimed IDC range of 102 km.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: It is equipped with a telescopic fork at the front and gets preload-adjustable twin shocks at the rear, and the scooter rolls on 12-inch wheels at both ends. The scooter gets an accessible seat height of 770 mm with an adequate ground clearance of 165 mm.
