Beast of a bike

I chose bullet 500 for its presence and power. the bike delivers on both well, the raw power that you control and feel when you are riding the bike is unmatched by anything else.The bike sturdy and long lasting offers tremendous prestige among the new everyone has a bullet world.

Best in terms of power & want feel Royal

I would say you'll never feel lack of power and pickup. Yes it (engine) gets hot fast but rest no issues at all. Second I'll say if you're 80kg or plus then only you should buy or if you're height is at least 5'6 then only. As it's a bit heavy and also more height than 350cc. Average is approx 25 to 30 km per litre. As per rider, speed and road. Overall if want to ride without thinking about pickup and power then you must buy it.

It's simple and stable. one thing need to install that is tubeless tyre and back disk break

Q. Which one is best for fuel Royal Enfield Bullet 500 or Classic 350?
  • The ARAI claimed mileage of Royal Enfield Classic 350 is 40.8 kmpl. On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Bullet 500 has been discontinued and is no longer available for sale in the market.
  • It is obviously the 350 but I didn't find major difference and ride asthetics are quite better on 500
Q. Can I change my 500cc black classic in steel black fully?
  • For this, we would suggest you to please connect with the nearest authorized service center as they would be able to assist you better. Follow the link and select your desired city for service centers.
  • The best option is to get vinyl wrapping. Else you may have to get the colour alteration certificate from the RTO to get this done. As it is illegal to change the original colour of the bike.

  • There is no need to get the battery charged from the outside as the battery gets charged from the engine. Moreover, if you face any issue with the battery then you can get in touch with the authorised service centre. You can check service centres at this link- Service centres.
  • The battery of Royal Enfield bullet 500 is charged as and when the bike runs. Sometimes in monsoons you may face some problems of Battery drainage otherwise you don't have to ever worry about charging your battery per se
  • By the way, if we buy a new bullet, then it asks for charge only once in 4 to 5 years. If we talk about the old bullet bike, then it takes battery charging for 2 to 3 times in every rainy and winter season.

  • I don't think so, I think they are going to focus on meteor and classics for their touring bikes segment
  • No. They released a last version and took the decision to discontinue the model.

Bullet 500 Key Highlights

Features: Royal Enfield’s retro design ethos have worked well for the company and the Bullet 500 is as authentic as it gets. The Bullet 500 gets the signature Royal Enfield fuel tank, a stepped single seat, spoked 19-inch wheels and a chrome battery box. There is generous use of chrome on the exhaust, mudguards and headlamp bezel to add to its retro look.

Engine: The Bullet 350 comes with a 346cc air-cooled and carburetted single-cylinder motor that puts out 20.07PS at 5,250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm, delivered to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox. Its suspension setup comprises of conventional forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Despite the retro design, it comes with electric start and a disc brake up front. It weighs 194kg (kerb) and has a 13.5-litre fuel tank.

Rivals: Mahindra Mojo: The Mojo makes for a good tourer, thanks to its comfortable ergonomics, good ride quality and performance from its 300cc liquid-cooled motor. It might not handle as well as the competition, but when it comes to travelling long distances at a stretch, the Mojo acquits itself quite well. Bajaj Dominar 400: When it comes to performance, the Dominar is ahead of the competition, thanks to its 375cc liquid-cooled and fuel-injected single that makes 35PS of power. It also handles better than the competition, though the stiff suspension setup is not conducive to long-distance touring, especially on our bad roads.
