Renault Kiger 2021-2023

Features: The Renault Kiger features a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Arkamys sound system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, three drive modes: eco, normal, and sport, automatic climate control LED headlamps, and keyless entry with push-button start. A wireless phone charger and a Philips PM 2.5 AC filter are offered as optional extras. Despite a healthy feature list, the Kiger misses out on essentials such as cruise control and a sunroof. Safety is covered by four airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, ISOFIX seat mount points, hill start assist, and a rear camera with rear parking sensors. Standard safety kit includes an electronic stability programme (ESP), hill start assist, traction control, and tyre pressure monitoring system.

Engine: The Renault Kiger is offered with two engine options: a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 72 horsepower and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged engine generates 100 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque. Both engine options are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission.

Rivals: The Renault Kiger takes on the likes of the Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V, Tata Nexon, and the Mahindra XUV300.

Variants: Renault offers the Kiger in five broads variants: RXE, RXL, RXT, RXT (O) and RXZ.It comes in six body shades: Ice Cool White, Planet Grey, Moonlight Grey, Mahogany Brown, Caspian Blue, and Radiant Red. The dual-tone variants command a premium of Rs 17,000 and gets a Mystery Black Roof.
