To celebrate the first anniversary of the HY Ryders, which is a Hyosung owners club, the Korean based two-wheeler manufacturer launched the GT250 R Limited Edition (LE) at the DSK Hyosung showroom in Pune. The GT250 R LE has been finished in a gleaming shade of hurricane yellow to make it stand apart from the standard 250cc offering. The bikes would be limited to just 50 units, with each sporting the signatures of their respective owners. Also Read: Hyosung HY Ryders get revving
Speaking at the launch, Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels said, ‘Driven by popular demand from our discerning customers, we decided to introduce this signature edition of the GT250 R. What better way to introduce this faired beast than the 1st anniversary of our exclusive superbike club the HyRyders. We are overwhelmed by the support shown by the owners club, and are committed to delivering maximum value and excitement for them in the years to come.’
The changes made on the limited edition bike are only cosmetic and no changes have been done to the bikes powerplant. It is powered by a V-twin, oil-cooled, 249cc mill producing 28PS @ 10,000rpm and 22Nm @ 8,000rpm. The bike has been loaded with features like double disk Front Brakes, twin projector headlamps, upside down forks, EFI and the adjustable rear sets. The GT250 R Limited Edition has been priced at Rs 2.97 lakh (ex-showroom Pune).
