Toyota’s full Size SUV, the Land Cruiser 200 has received a facelift inside and out and also comes with added safety features. Up front, the LC200 gets a chunky three slat grille with brushed aluminium strips and chrome surrounds. The headlamps are new with projector lamps and LED inserts and the bumper gets restyled as well. Fog lamps with chrome housings further give it a premium feel. The rear gets a strip of chrome between the taillamps with the Land Cruiser name embossed on it.
The new interior features a revised dashboard and centre console. A multi-information display in the instrument cluster grabs your attention first and then it’s the large infotainment screen with two vertically slat air con vents that look the part of a flagship SUV. Bits under the screen and the steering wheel are new as well. New leather interior and a centre headrest to accommodate an extra passenger on the third row of this wide body SUV is new as well.

On the safety front, radar guided cruise control, pedestrian detection via radar and camera, autonomous braking, lane departure alarm, auto high-beam, blind spot monitoring and tyre pressure monitoring system are part of the equipment list.
Powering the LC200 is a 4.6-litre V8 mill developing about 320PS and 460Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and an intelligent 4WD system with rock crawling function. Expect Toyota to bring the new LC200 to India sometime early next year with a possible unveiling at the Auto Expo in February 2016.
