Top 10 Cars Sold In January 2021 : Alto, Swift, Baleno, Venue, Creta, And More

With January 2021 done and dusted, the sales figures have now started to come in. And according to the numbers, the top 10 most sold cars are all from the stables of Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. Seven Maruti Suzuki models have made the list, whereas Hyundai occupy the remaining slots. Here’s us taking a look at the sales figures: 

Maruti Suzuki Alto garnered the most sales in January, albeit posting marginally lower units than the same time in 2020. The Maruti Suzuki Swift and WagonR occupy the second and third spots respectively, with the latter selling more units than in 2020.

The Hyundai Creta received a generational update last year, which certainly helped it on its way to becoming the bestselling SUV in the country. Its sibling, the  Venue comes in at the seventh spot as the top-selling sub-4 metre SUV.

At the tail end of the queue is the Maruti Suzuki Eeco ranked 8th, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios at 9, followed by the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza at 10. Despite the Brezza getting a facelift in February 2020, it failed to significantly improve its showing.
