Apart from showing off the new Thunderbird 500, Royal Enfield has matched its new products with some interesting new rides, which the company regular organises for its esteemed customers. Now this is one company that is relentless about motorcycle travel and it boasts of an illustrious year-long Ride Calendar that has some of the most exciting and thrilling motorcycle tours scheduled, which allow the rider to explore the deepest corners of India. The latest ride to be added to the Chennai-based bike-maker’s ride agenda is the Tour of Bhutan, for which the registrations have already opened and the interested Royal Enfield owners can head to the company’s official website to complete the formalities in order to enroll for the Bhutan ride.
The Tour of Bhutan will commence on 5th of May 2012 and conclude on 15th of May, 2012, taking the Royal Enfield owners through the tea gardens of West Bengal in Bagdogra across some of the most untouched parts of Bhutan and Sikkim. The tour kick-starts from from Bagdogra and after traversing the scenic locales of North-East India, it culminates in Guwahati, Assam. Demanding and challenging, the ride is certainly a tough one to take and as with most Royal Enfield tours, the ‘no-pillion’ rule continues. With an average number of ten bends per kilometre, this ride is certainly going to be one hell of an experience for the corner-carving motorcycle breed.
