Luxury car giant, Mercedes-Benz, will be launching the refreshed E-Class today in India. Armed with its mid-cycle face-lift, the new Mercedes E-Class goes back to the single headlight unit after 18 years, unlike its immediate predecessors. Other changes include a bigger grille and a restyled bumper at the front. Changes at the rear include new LED tail lights and a restyled bumper.
As is the norm with face-lifted Mercedes-Benz models, the new E-Class is also expected to pack in more features inside the passenger cabin along with updated trim materials and mildly restyled interiors.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has also benefited from the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class in terms of safety features like a stereo multi-purpose camera, collision prevention assist and attention assist to make the new E-Class safer than ever before.
The refreshed Mercedes E-Class is expected to hit the market with the same range of powertrains as the outgoing model, however, they have been tweaked for better performance and efficiency.
The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is expected to be priced marginally higher than the current E-Class that retails between Rs 39.27 lakh and Rs 78.82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
