Mahindra Electric has announced today that it will be launching the ‘e2o Plus’, an all-new electric car in the Indian market, on October 21. Mahindra Electric had already released teaser images of the new offering, along with the name of the car. Christened as the ‘e2o plus’, the car is an updated four-door version of the current e2o being sold in the market.
The company is said to have made lots of improvements with special emphasis being given to the range and charging time of the vehicle. The e2o Plus will be a new electric vehicle offering to roll out of the factory after the e2o. Mahindra Electric has been tight-lipped about the details of the vehicle which will be disclosed only on the day of the launch. The e2o Plus is expected to feature stylish exteriors with fresh interiors and is likely to be targeted at the young generation. The new Mahindra Electric e2o Plus is likely to be powered by the same power unit that does duty on the new e2o model. In the e2o, the electric motor is capable of developing 25.8PS of max power and 53.9Nm of peak torque.
