BattRE Launches IOT e-scooter In India

BattRE, an electric mobility startup, has launched a new electric scooter called the LoEV at Rs 59,990 (ex-showroom). Yep, the company is called BattRE and the scooter is LoEV. According to the company, the e-scooter is a premium offering and can be booked at the dealerships or through Amazon.in.
So, is there something new with this electric scooter? Well, not really. It looks sporty, it gets the same feature list as other electric scooters out there - LED DRLs, remote key, anti-theft alarm, reverse mode, and a digital instrument console. And oh, it also comes with a wheel immobiliser, and it is exactly what it sounds like. It locks the wheel so that it can’t be moved.

The LoEV gets a detachable lithium-ion battery pack that can be changed via a 10A fast charger in two hours. Now, we haven’t received any specific details about the motor yet, but we will update this report once we get word from BattRE.

New Delhi, January 2020: BattRE Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd, a technology-driven EV startup today has

launched a new model of electric scooter named LoEV, a premium entry-level scooter. The USP of LoEV electric scooter is to provide a premium experience to the users with features like dual disc brakes, remote key, anti-theft alarm, reverse gear, wheel immobilizer, 10 AMP fast charger, 2 hours charging time &; Detachable Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery with 3 years warranty. With LED display & LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), this electric scooter increases visibility on the road and adds a style to the vehicle.
In the words of Nishchal Chaudhary, Founder of BattRE Electric Mobility, “We launched our first
electric scooter BattRE-One in June last year, which is a premium mid-segment product. In the last 7
months we have been able to ramp up our distribution to 50+ dealers in 6 states covering South India, Maharashtra and Gujarat. With enough and more demand at the entry-level segment, we are confident of doubling our throughput at existing dealers with the launch of LoEV. It will also drive our entry in the new geographies like UP, Bihar, MP and Rajasthan in the next 2 quarters”.
BattRE LoEV boasts of advanced technology, three riding modes and an increased warranty. Priced at Rs 59,900/- onwards ex-showroom price, premium electric scooters are available in 6 color variants. This model will also be available on Amazon India & BattRE stores at Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat & others.
