Mahindra has introduced a new entry-level variant for the XUV300, called the W2, at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV manufacturer has also made the performance-oriented TurboSport engine more accessible by introducing it from the second-from-base W4 variant onwards.
As a result, the Mahindra XUV300 is now more accessible than before for potential customers looking for petrol power, though the diesel variant lineup remains unchanged.

The XUV300’s new W2 petrol variant is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh, making it Rs 66,000 more accessible than the previous base-spec W4 trim. On the other hand, the introduction of the T-GDI turbo-petrol trim in the W4 variant has made it more accessible by a whopping Rs 1.2 lakh.

Mahindra has taken this opportunity to introduce one new feature in the XUV300 W4: a sunroof. This particular piece of kit was earlier offered from the W6 trim onwards. Apart from this change, the XUV300 W4 remains more or less the same as before.

No changes have been made in this department. The XUV300 continues to be offered with three engine choices: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. To make life easier, we have compiled their detailed specifications in the table below:
