Aston Martin has launched the new-gen 2024 Vantage in India at Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom). It is the most potent Vantage in the nameplate’s 74-year history, boasting a new V8 engine that delivers a 155 PS increase in power compared to its predecessor. Alongside this power boost, the car features a refreshed design, giving it a more dynamic and purposeful look.

The Vantage draws design cues from the One-77, particularly evident in its front fascia featuring a larger grille for a more aggressive look. Complementing this are the redesigned headlights that enhance the car's muscular appearance. It rides on 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, maintaining the sleek profile typical of Aston Martin cars. The rear is characterised by slim, curved taillights spanning the width of the body, preserving the car's distinct aesthetic.

Inside, the new Vantage offers a combination of sportiness and sophistication. Its interior layout mirrors that of the DB12, featuring modern design elements alongside physical controls for essential functions. Sleek AC vents, bucket seats, and contrasting yellow stitching along door handles complement its performance-oriented character.

The 2024 Vantage comes equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, and a premium 15-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio system. Apart from the standard safety features, the Vantage comes equipped with ADAS features such as forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking and traffic sign recognition.

Powertrain-wise, the 2024 Vantage is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine generating 665 PS and 800 Nm, paired with a 8-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 325 kmph. Aston Martin says its engineered for a perfect 50-50 weight distribution while its enhanced mechanical components, such as an electronic rear differential and adaptive dampers, ensure a balanced and agile driving experience while maintaining comfort.

Priced at Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom), the 2024 Vantage continues its rivalry with the McLaren GT and Ferrari Roma.
