Ferrari’s first all-electric model, the Elettrica, combines 1000 PS of power, 530 km of range, and an innovative electric soundtrack to deliver performance worthy of the Prancing Horse badge

Ferrari Elettrica

Ferrari has officially entered the electric era with the global debut of its first all-electric supercar, the Ferrari Elettrica, unveiled during the brand’s 2025 Capital Markets Day in Maranello, Italy. The Elettrica represents a defining moment in Ferrari’s long and storied history, marking its shift towards sustainable mobility while preserving the performance, craftsmanship, and emotion that define the Prancing Horse.

1,000 PS, 530 km Range, and an Audio Track That's Never Been Done Before

It is powered by an all-wheel-drive quad-motor setupwhere one motor is dedicated to each wheel. They give over 1,000 PS combined output, making the Elettrica one of the most powerful electric supercars globally.

The performance metrics are as spectacular as you'd want from Ferrari. The Elettrica accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in only 2.5 seconds, with maximum speed pegged at 310 kmph. Even though an EV, the emphasis is still on extracting an uncompromised Ferrari driving experience, with sharp handling, rapid response, and linear torque delivery to all four corners.

Battery Developed Based on Performance, Not Only Range

The motors are driven by a 122 kWh battery pack, embedded into the monocoque for enhanced structural stiffness and weight distribution. Ferrari promises a 530 km range on a full charge together with the capability for 350 kW ultra-fast charging, adding considerable range within minutes. The performance DNA of the Elettrica is built around usable, repeatable power, the kind that exhilarates not only straightline but around each curve.

Handling and Chassis: The First Ferrari That Mastered All Axes

Below the skin, the Elettrica features sophisticated dynamics systems, such as adaptive active suspension, independent rear-wheel steering, and torque vectoring on each wheel for ultimate precision and control. They all interact together to optimise agility, ride comfort, and responsiveness, so the Elettrica is fast but also very well composed.

One of the most fascinating features is Ferrari’s new sound simulation system, which uses sensors to capture and amplify the natural vibrations of the powertrain. Rather than artificially imitating an internal combustion engine, it creates an “authentic” electric sound unique to the car’s character, ensuring that the driver feels connected to every surge of power.

Design and Layout: Compact, Four-Door, and GT-Ready

The Ferrari Elettrica pairs grand tourer styling with the most up-to-date EV technology. Ferrari has not yet revealed the exterior, but the company has said the Elettrica will be a four-seater coupe with an emphasis on aerodynamic sophistication and even proportions. There will be a low-slung silhouette, flowing body panels, and Ferrari cues linking the car to models like the Roma and 296 GTB.

We'll get the first look at the exterior and interior of the Elettrica later in early 2026, ahead of the global premiere later the same year.

ZigSays…

The Ferrari Elettrica will arrive with customers late in 2026, while the first half of 2026 will see the introduction of additional technical information and design glimpses, as well as the possible variants. Production will run exclusively in Maranello, with the in-house engineers from Ferrari managing all the way from the powertrain development to the tuning of the chassis.
