Ola Electric has commenced the purchase window for the S1 Pro, and with it, has also increased the prices by Rs 10,000. Currently, the Ola S1 Pro retails at Rs 1,20,149 (ex-showroom Delhi, including FAME-II subsidy). Customers who have paid the Rs 499 pre-booking amount can now pay the Rs 20,000 token, and will be required to pay the remaining amount before delivery.
Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO, Ola Electric, revealed a couple of months ago that the company is planning to hike the prices of its electric scooter in the next purchase window.
State | Price |
Delhi | Rs 1,20,149 |
Gujarat | Rs 1,19,999 |
Maharashtra | Rs 1,29,999 |
Rajasthan | Rs 1,29,105 |
All Other States | Rs 1,39,999 |
Even with the price hike, the Ola Electric S1 Pro continues to be more affordable than the Ather 450X which retails for Rs 1,38,006 (ex-showroom Delhi, including FAME-II subsidy). Not only does Ola’s electric scooter offer more features, but also boasts more range, which has been claimed to be improved further with the new MoveOS 2.0 that should roll out in the coming weeks.
In fact, the EV maker has initiated a contest wherein 10 customers who manage to extract more than 200km range from their S1 Pro will win a free S1 Pro Gerua.
The Ola Electric S1 has been raking in good sales, and even went on to be the highest-selling electric scooter in April 2022. However, its journey hasn’t been smooth, with a couple of EVs catching fire, which later caused Ola to recall over 1,400 units. The Ola Electric S1 Pro rivals the likes of the Bajaj Chetak and the TVS iQube.
