We have HTK+ variant of same engine and have driven on every type of road a normal person residing in semi urban locality will go to and encountered no issues and coming to your point on hilly regions it's great if you are moving but from stand still you will need to rev a little with good clutch coordination else car will stall and it struggles for traction if driven from standstill on slope/hill as it's only front wheel drive. if you reside in mountainous region you can opt for diesel one else if you specifically want petrol motor & if your pocket permits to shell out some 2-3 lacs more get 1.4turbo motor but then forget the efficiency. or if you are experienced driver you will manage with this too. btw great car no issues as such. and a proper head turner.
