I want to buy Tata Tigor XZ Plus but I hear that the Tata engine is very noisy and its 3 cylinder so in hilly area it is hard for pick up also I hear resale value is not good for Tata cars. Please help me to finalize.

I have driven my Tata tigor xz+ for 8000 km in last 7 months and it’s super awesome . I drove it in almost all kind of roads like Highway, hilly, city and some extent off-roading also. On hilly area with five passengers I never felt any performance issue . About noise I can say it’s redined in latest model which I am using .and on the highway I am LOVING IT Guys. Apart from this I had a very long drive of 1300Km that time I got approx 21Kmpl mileage too.

Apart from this I had a very long drive of 1300Km that time I got approx 21Kmpl mileage too.

Even being a 3 cylinder, its engine has been refined and its not as noisy and neither will you feel any significant vibration inside. Car is not as silent as honda cars are but yet they are decent enough, a 4 cylinder is much balanced and recommended than 3 cylinder but even in hilly areas you will not feel any significant comparable lag.

1) About the noise you will start loving it.2) hilly areas-I have driven almost 120 kms with 5 average adults onboard during rainy season. Believe me there is no pick up issues. I had to switch on ac for whole duration as roads were full of mud and to keep windows down was not an option as it was industrial area so heavy traffic was there to tackle.3) about resale-it takes years to create an image and Tata is on a roll after all its manufacturing world class products of lately.

I have also driven my Tata Tigor XZ 40000 kg since July 2017. Still It is good. Only in my view please compare only pickup before purchase with other cars also. It is good in all other things with others.

Which year tigor model you are currently using?Is there any issue like 3rd gear vibration higher side?
