Creta 2020 mileage in city dropped in a year's time and only after 4000km of driving. After first service it was giving 9-10kmpl but now only 5-7kmpl in same city traffic driving. These are average numbers and not reading of just 1 or 2 drives. mileage didn't improve after 2nd service even. Riding comfort and every thing else is great, but mileage is far far below to what Hyundai has really asvetised. Also, on highway it gives 15kmpl if driven at speed of 80kmpl. If we drive above 100 mileage drops to 13kmpl. At speed of 120kmpl it comes down to 12kmpl on highway. So when Petrol prices are rising should you really buy it. I guess no!

I have got Creta Turbo Sx(O) dct 4 days back and i am getting mileage of 8-9kmpl in city (kolhapur) where it provides me mileage of 11kmpl on highway. Dealer said that it will get increase as engine comes into running and even after first service. Anyone here with a dct engine done with first service? Is it providing you a good mileage?

I am planing to buy creta 2020. I am more towards 1.4 Turbo DCT version. But 2 key points which keeps stopping me are 1. How reliable is the the 1.4 Turbo GDI engine in Creta 2020 2. How reliable is the DCT gear box in city driving.If any owners are reviewers can give their opinion it would be more helpful

DCT mileage depends on city, traffic conditions. I live in Vizag which is a hilly terrain and my hometown is Thrissur, Kerala which has plain roads. In Vizag I am getting a mileage of 7.5 to 8.5 in the city which comprises of more ups and downs of the road. But in Kerala I am getting a mileage of 11 to 12.5 in the city. On the highways we get 14 to 15 if we drive at 80 to 120, 15 and above if we drive at 60 to 80, 9 to 11 if we drive above 120. I have driven my car from Vizag to Thrissur which is 1500 kms.

I brought dct sx(o) last year around October. Before the first service, i used to get 14-16 kmpl on highways (Bangalore to Hyderabad - NH7). And in city around 10 - 11 kmpl. After the first service, mileage got dropped slightly for highway drives. Now Its giving around 13-14 (Comfort Mode) on Highway. And in cities its got worse, currently its giving me around 6-7 (Comfort Mode) kmpl.

I have the 1.4Turbo and driven it for around 7k kms 70% city driving. In stop and go heavy traffic, the mileage is around 9km/L., but in normal traffic, I easily get 14. In highway, going to 90km/h, I get average of 17, and if you go at 80, you can get even 18km/L with AC on. Being turbo, mileage is quite sensitive to throttle, but thats the whole point of Tubro!!

My Creta has done over 16000 kms. Although 70% is highway driving, the overall mileage is about 15.5 kmpl. In the city, it hovers between 11-13. I usually drive in the comfort setting.

After 3 servicing mileage never gone up above 10-11 kmpl for me. CX(O) Turbo petrol. I have used Renault Fluence diesel 18-21 kmpl n i10 magna 15 kmpl. It is better to go with Tata or Mahindra where u save on price atleast.
