Sept 29, 2016 : The German luxury car maker has started to assemble the Mercedes-Benz GLC at its Indian plant, helping the company reduce the popular SUV’s price further. Up until now, the imported GLC was priced at Rs 50.7 lakh for petrol variant, while the diesel engine powered version started at Rs 50.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). But now with local assembly, the Made-in-India GLC will carry a more competitive price tag of Rs 51.90 lakh for petrol and Rs 47.90 lakh for diesel (both ex-showroom, Delhi)
