Q. There is a pie sound coming fron Pulsar 125. When fuel is low?

New model is low on maintenance.. after free servicing u can change just oil and after 15000km u need to change chain spocket. There is no high maintenance for this bike. My suggestion is to u if u can wait for ABS model. That will be best deal for u. It's semi faired bike. And Bajaj build quality is not that Great. So u need to adjust about fairing vibration. Otherwise there is no any vibration. If rave it above 90 to 100 it will start vibrating on u r foot pegs

Ignore vibrations that may come after few thousand kms. Make sure you do servicing and oil change in front of you. Prefer full synthetic oil (like 10w50 or 5w50). Also after warantee do servicing in local garages and in front of you. Use chain oil to lubricate chain than spray. P 220F has been total hassle free bike for me in last 7.8 years and 87k done till date.

I do it in outside garages so it costs rs 350 for labor + rs 1200 for full synthetic oil + rs 150 for filters. 7.8 years and my bike still gives 40kmpl in city and 45-46 on highways because i do servicing in front of me. Also brake pads and wheel rubbers are something that I do change every 20k kms that in total cost close to 2k (at max and that too after 2 years)

Bajaj Pulsar 220 F sports a different design and specifications than that of Pulsar 180. However, if you like the design of Pulsar 220F but does not want the bigger engine, then you may opt for the Bajaj Pulsar 180F.

Very little vibrations, it won't bother you much. The free servicing and oil change would cost you around 600 and theres chain lubing and oiling and other such stuff which could cost you another 300-400

There are no vibrations till 80kmph. try to ride on good roads. dont use the stock engine oil of bajaj. use castrol instead. maintenance cost is less than 2000 for paid services.

Zero. In last 7.6 years nothing other than servicing and chain oil refill (i manually do it in home every 20 to 25 days) and i am ignoring fearing vibrations so i am happy bajaj 220 customer. One key thing is i use motul 10w50 full synthetic oil and i do servicing in small garages.

Actually no.. there is no problem in 220 chain socket.. But if you ride rash. Or if you always release the clutch suddenly it will cost you to change the chain socket after few kms. The chain noise is there, you can minimise it when by lubricating the chain after 600 kms.

Maintenance cost will be not too expensive.but you always maintain your bike in the company or showroom like that..your engine life will extend allways.

You should check the gauze which is between the casings it might be the issue as i had the same leakage problem but was solved as i changed the gauze. And the sound well the more you rev the bike the more sound it will produce with time it will get more deeper

Pulsar 220F is wonderful techno auto product, mileage is low due to variable speed and frequently changing gears during heavy traffic riding hence more fuel consumption. About battery, needs to be properly maintained for better life.

500rs month maintenance and for fairing vibration you can unscrew fairing and use 2 sided tape and then screw the fairing again, problem solved.

New 220 maintenance cost wold be around 1200 includes oil change. And new 220 seems to be refined. But there is absents in soul of the engine.

Low maintenance cost of 220F, There is a problem with the vibration of this bike, the vibration of this bike has been around for fifteen years.

Around 100km/hr its like driving a splender at 50-60 speed. so you won't feel like vibration because of the heavy body...it has a good road grip

No. Use chain oil and keep it fresh.it should reduce pressure on other parts. But partially yes chain socket is changed often in P220F, it may something to do with the quality and the way we maintain our bike.

First three service cost 450 aprox and then normal service 500-600 rupees and vibrations is very low

It is coming from petrol tank. open the tank cap once and the sound will go.

Don't use chain lube spray. Use oil for u r chain.. if u use lube spray the will become sticky. So use normal engine oil. Or u can use used engine oil

I did not face this issue. I have 7.7 years old pulsar 220f. I use full synthetic engine oil and regularly do servicing (in front of me).
