Yes it is high . Just the general service itself costs around 2 to 3 k . If any spare parts to be replaced , it’s an additional . The battery last for 2 to 3 yrs , when battery runs outta juice then u have to replace it but cannot be charged , it dies technically, then the battery cost around 3 k at RE Showroom , but outside . 2.5 k with labor , but one more important thing is that , when when battery dies , the speedometer also dies simultaneously due to to excessive power supply to the meter , then u have to change it as well or repair it with some local workshop , that’s an additional cost , if you replace the speedometer with new one with RE it costs 8 k which is huge pocket biter. And still lotta other expenses when it comes to service or repair . It’s too much you have to save for bike maintenance in every 3 months . Keep it control.

I do not like royal Enfield service centres because they charge a lot for literally nothing. So, I have a local mechanic who charges around 3000/- for a general service. Since I service my bike every 3000 kms or once in 4 months, my service cost comes down to 9000/- per year. I am not accounting for any breakdown costs. That is situational.

Hi! I'm stunned to hear such excessive costs for royal Enfield. I own a classic 350 BS-IV 2017 model and I have changed my battery in 5 years now (since I bought my bike). Also hearing this speedometer problem for the first time. My father has changed batteries on his 2011 RE Electra but never faced such issue with the speedometerMaybe it's a production issue for just a batch of units.
