    No. Ex-showroom is the base price of a vehicle. It does not even include the accessory costs that one need to purchase with the vehicle (e.g., left side rear view mirror, crash guards etc. which are non mandatory for a scooter). Road tax is levied by the stateUnion territory within which the vehicle will be registered. Ex-showroom is quoted mainly to let customers know what the company charges the customer for a vehicle. Rest all charges are either accessory related or for registering the vehicle.

    No.. Road tax is a component of On-road price. Ex-showroom price is the base price... You have to pay for road tax separately.
