The Yamaha R3 is yet to make its way to India and it would not be fair to give a verdict here. Yamaha discontinued the supersport in India this year as it wasn’t BS6 compliant. The updated version is likely to be launched by early-2021. On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 would be a good choice if you are looking for a proper Cafe Racer bike that gets clip-on handlebars, single seat with a race cowl, and blacked-out spoke wheels. The GT’s sporty riding position makes it much more suitable for twisty mountain roads and even high speed straight line blasts and would be a brilliant choice for outright thrills. For a better understanding of performance and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. For city ride in India 100-200cc motorcycle are the best. But as a R3 owner I face some problem in city conditions (20-30kmph). Problems in city to ride a 300cc bikes - 1). Squeezing clutch make you hand feel pain, 2).Radiator fan heat, 3).Fuel consumption, 4).Handle turning radius is not so good and ,5).300 cc bike lekar 20-30 kmph 🤒🤒. From my perspective G310>R3>300>650. NB- I am not an expert.
G310 if you want a head turner ,ninja if you want to feel comfortable + sporty in city, r3 if you can afford it
