The Lamborghini Huracan STO is a track-derived street legal version of the brand’s entry-level supercar, the Huracan EVO. It is lighter and more powerful than the standard model with numerous features that add downforce and improve its dynamic characteristics for fast lap times at racetracks.
The Huracan STO gets the usual 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 petrol engine that has been tuned to make 640PS and 565Nm, the same output as that of the Huracan Performante. However, the STO is rear-wheel drive only, unlike the all-wheel drive Performante. It also gets rear-wheel steering for better handling. Other changes on the track-spec Huracan over the regular one include a wider track, specific anti-roll bars for added rigidity, a faster shifting gearbox, and a calibrated engine for increased responsiveness. Lamborghini claims a 0 to 100kmph acceleration time of 3 seconds and a top speed of 310kmph. the Huracan STO has been priced at Rs 4.99 Crore ex-showroom.
