Q. Which is best dzire or etios?
  • You can't go wrong by choosing either these two. Both the cars are good in terms of efficiency and safety. Maruti has tried to provide all the safety features, which make the passengers safe during the ride and also make sure there is less damage to the car in case of an accident. The top end trims are equipped with anti-lock braking system, EBD along with dual SRS airbags. The central locking system, engine immobilizer, side impact beams, three-point seat belts and child safety locks come in as standard features. Toyota Etios Sedan is loaded with numerous safety features, in the top end trim you would find ABS, EBD, dual SRS airbags, driver’s seat belt warning, and keyless entry. On the other hand, the engine immobilize, day and night inside rear view mirror, door ajar warning, central locking system, headlight –on warning are other regular safety traits here. Toyota Etios Sedan is a good looking car, which is also pleasurable to drive. However, Maruti Swift Dzire gets good marks in the mileage department whereas Etios has spacious cabin as compared to Dzire. An option of automatic variant on the Dzire also makes the offer more appealing. Therefore, Maruti Suzuki has always been ahead in the race and here too.
  • 2 things which makes ratios a clear winner in my eye is the superb low on noice diesel though delivers average power with variable turbo ,second Toyota after sales experience. Now maruti had stopped ldi dezire new design is nice but engine life after 1 lac? petrol both gives a value for money performance. Thanks.
  • First of all don't compare Etios with DZire. Etios is the clear winner.

  • If you are on a tight budget you can go for "GXD" variant, it get smaller wheels and tyres compared to the other two. Even this variant retains all the safety features like ABS with EBD, dual airbags, seats belts with pre tensioners and the mounting points for the child seats. "VD" is the second level variant for the Platinum Etios and is priced Rs 30k more than the GXD variant which gets better goodies. It gets Integrated 2DINAudio, Cd Player, Outside Rear View Mirror Turn Indicators, Chrome Grille, Chrome Garnish anf gets 15 inch tyres. "VXD" is the top variant and with the extra amount of Rs. 64k it gives a premium feel and comfort. It gets Leather Steering Wheel, Electric Folding Rear View Mirror, Alloy Wheels, Multi-function Steering Wheel, Parking Sensors, etc.
  • Old GD is now GSD is my choice it's a base variant nowhere inferior to vxd the higher variant ..only tyre size..its a minimalistic approach from Toyota but a practical car with good aftersales.
  • Etios Gd

  • Actually Nissan Sunny is not reliable and there are many issues for Nissan Sunny before people owning nissan sunny crossed more than 20000 km and service is awful
  • You can go in for the Toyota Etios Platinum petrol version if you travel less than 5000 kms each month. If you travel more than that try the diesel version. Both vehicles are simple, study and reliable with much less maintenance cost.
