Recently Asked User Questions

Q. Which is the best Jeep compass variant for daily use and use for long ride in month?
  • It depends on how many features you can live without. Sports Plus is a good entry level option with all safety features and same driving dynamics. Top of the line is limited plus with things which make it premium feeling like white leather seats and a huge panaromic sun roof auto Headlamps rain sensing wipers etc. The latest Trailhawk version is 9 speed DCT automatic with 4x4 gearbox and is a serious off-roading vehicle. So there are a lot of variants engines and gearbox options to choose from according to your needs and of course budget
  • The Compass is now available in four variants - Sport, Longitude, Limited and Limited Plus. In addition, a Sport variant-based Bedrock trim and a Black Pack package is now available as well. While the diesel engine is available across variants, the petrol engine is available in the base and top variant only. Notably, it’s only the diesel variant that gets optional 4x4 in the Limited and Limited Plus variant. We’d recommend the Longitude if you aren’t keen on spending a lot for an SUV, and the Limited 4x2 if you know you won’t be mucking about. Whereas, Offers and discounts are provided by the brand and it may also vary according to the city, brand and model. There are scenarios wherein dealers also give attractive deals to their customers. • In our books, the Longitude (O) is the Compass to go for if you want this SUV. Sadly, both the Longitude and the Longitude (O) are not offered with a petrol option which makes the about Rs 2 lakh premium over the Sport variant quite steep. Apart from it, If you’re on a budget and want to join the Jeep bandwagon, this is the variant for you. The Sport trim doesn't skimp on safety either and offers almost all of the Compass' safety features, including ESC and TCS! But Jeep has missed out on some essentials such as rear-parking sensors and the AC is manual, which is disappointing for a car that’s priced over Rs 15 lakh.

Q. Which car should I buy, Jeep Compass or Hyundai Creta?
  • The Creta feels like you’re getting your money’s worth. It’s well-built, has a comfortable ride, enough gizmos to keep you occupied and a brilliant set of engines. You’ll have trouble upgrading from this one. On the other hand, if that Jeep badge tugs at your heart, the Compass is currently the most affordable way to scratch that itch. In return, you get a solidly built, fun to drive brute that can tear through the scenery if needed. Not a bad deal, we say! We would suggest you to take a test drive in order to clear your all doubts. Click on the given link to get your nearest dealership details: https://www.zigwheels.com/dealers
  • Hyundai Creta might be a vanilla package, but that doesn’t stop it from being a potent one. It’s got the mix of looks, features and drivability, ensuring thousands of prospective owners thronging Hyundai’s showrooms every month. The waiting periods can get annoying though, so be warned. Whereas, if that Jeep badge tugs at your heart, the Compass is currently the most affordable way to scratch that itch. • Creta falls in a crossover segment and Jeep compass falls in a SUV segment, so comparison of both with regards to price would be tough. Although talking about features jeep doesn't provide a lot of additional features like the creta, but stability on road and overall performance of the Jeep compass is much better than the Creta.

Q. Which one should I buy between Jeep Compass or Innova Crysta?
  • I would recommend the Toyota Innova crysta here.Although the compass is a brilliant car but we all know that both the Innova and the compass are priced on the higher side. But Innova manages to justify its price in the long run.Its more practical, comfortable and reliable.Compass is a driver's car and both the cars cost around 25 lacs in there top spec trim. And when you use the Innova for 3-4 years munching more than 1 lac kms before selling it you'll have people lined up in the market willing to pay you 9-11 lacs easily. Not sure if the compass would be any close. Both the cars have a similar power figure too approx 170 bhp.You will actually be surprised to see that the acceleration crysta has for its size.Although it is no way close to the handling of the Jeep which has brilliant driving dynamics and has a stiff suspension set up whereas the crysta has a soft suspension
  • Crysta for daily n long time use. Jeep is new to India but don't forget its ancestors are FIAT, which is a big failure in India. Test drive both n I bet you that you will call me to say thnx!
  • These two are very different vehicles. Innova for economy, after sales, resale and peace of mind. Jeep for sheer adrenaline rush, style coefficient, ride quality
