Royal Enfield Hunter 350

  • Ideal for individuals seeking a Royal Enfield motorcycle that is lightweight and nimble
  • offering easy accessibility.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350

  • The relaxed nature of the engine doesn't complement with the motorcycle's contemporary chassis very well and the absence of features deprives the bike of any sense of modernity.

Recently Asked User Questions

Q. I am planning to buy Hornet 2.0 or Yamaha MT-15 could you suggest which bike is better in terms of both performance and mileage?
  • As per your requirements, we would suggest you to go with the Honda Hornet 2.0. With a frugal engine, agreeable ergos, light handling, and a comfortable ride, the Hornet makes for a great city bike. On the upside, when you cruise at an economical speed, the motor gingerly sips from the 12-litre fuel tank to return 55.11kmpl. It gets even better in the city, with a very respectable mileage figure of 57.35kmpl. The 184cc single-cylinder air-cooled mill on the Hornet 2.0 is the largest that Honda makes in India. It produces 17.27PS at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm at 6,000rpm. Honda claims it has a healthy mid-range performance. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
Q. I am confused between Honda Hornet 2.0 & Honda Unicorn 160. I live in Mumbai and I commute daily up to 60 kms on rough roads, busy traffic and highway. My priorities are good ride quality & suspension for comfortable journey for both rider and pillion(because of back pain), low maintenance cost and good mileage.Which one should I go for?
  • As per your requirements, we'd suggest you to go with the Honda Unicorn if you do not mind the old-school styling and lack of modern elements. The Unicorn is powered by a tried and tested fuel efficient engine, gets lots of ground clearance and a longer seat for improved comfort for both rider and the pillion. The BS6 update has given the bike a larger motor, while retaining the dynamics of the older bike. It still remains a well-rounded motorcycle, but the BS6 update has come with a hefty price hike. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and compatibility. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read More: - What Has Honda Changed On The New Unicorn BS6?

Q. Hornet 2.0 or FS-FI V3?
  • Selecting between the Honda Hornet 2.0 and Yamaha FZS-FI V3 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, prefernce of the segmet, features required, etc. If you are looking for a bike in the 150cc segment with a smooth engine, comfortable ergonomics and good fuel efficiency then the FZS-FI v3.0 wuold be a better pick. Whereas, if you are looking for a bike from a segment above with a bigger engine and more modern elements the you may opt for the Hornet 2.0. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

    City riding

Let me summarize my 8 Months ownership review pros: 1. Awesome mileage - before 1st service I was getting 50kmpl when driving in city limit with 60-70kmph. It drops down to around 42kmpl on highways. After 2nd service, I was getting around 55kmpl in the city and around 45kmpl on highways. This is far better than many 150cc bikes like pulsar 150 or 160NS, RTR 160 4v, etc. 2. Very lightweight - I have driven a fair share of bikes from bajaj pulsar 200 and 220, Tvs apache 150. I must say given a 180 cc engine, It is far lighter than 200 cc segment bikes and is within range of 150-160 cc bikes from other brands. How does it help? While cornering on roads you feel more comfortable and confident while handling.3.Overall handling in the city - it is very easy to maneuver in the city even in heavy traffic. You will feel like you are just flying. Can't say more on this as this was the primary thing I was looking for after driving pulsar 220. (220 is a damn heavy bike and I had an issue while driving in traffic)4. Power - now many will look at the performance sheet and say the engine is underpowered, But let me tell you it has absolutely best in class weight to power ratio. Whenever you need to accelerate in traffic you can rely on this bike. The low and mid-performance are just awesome. I always zoom past traffic whenever the traffic light changes to green. The high end is not that peppy but still, we usually do not need that high performance in city limits.5.Engine refinement - this is also one of the best features I feel for this bike. The vibration is almost negligible, When standing still sometimes I get confused that the engine is not running at all. Even at 80-90s, there are minimal vibrations. Yeah after 100 it does start feeling some vibrations but being driven pulsar 220 it seems nothing.😆6.Tires - Tires are the widest available in the segment of 180 to 200 cc bikes. Along with being lightweight, stability is just out of the world. I can say with ease that even beginners with very little experience can handle this bike easily. 7. Looks - the looks are just awesome, It has been a head-turner every time I stop. I own the Repsol edition and from the front, it looks like a BMW. I have mistaken another hornet 2.0 coming from the front with BMW G310r. Cons:1.Stiffer suspension - due to suspension being on the stiffer side the stability is just awesome but takes away some comfort while driving at high speed on a bad road. So if you are from a city which has very bad roads or you live in the suburbs of a city. Your back might hate you to drive this. To be honest engine refinement goes for a toss on a bad road. We can adjust the suspensions also people have said that the suspension gets softer with use but I feel more like people getting habitual to the suspension. Overall for me, it is not a big problem as I mostly use it within the city and good roads.2.Pillion seat - it is okay to travel for a short distance on a pillion seat but long tours are not recommended. I have sat in the back seat for a good 1 hour and I could feel the stiffness building up on my bum and legs. Again the seat has ample space so it is okay to go for 40-50kms inside the city limit. But touring with a pillion is big no no.3.Ground clearance - the bike is short compared to its competitors. I have hit the main stand of the bike on sharp speed breakers and potholes many times when I was driving with a pillion on.When alone it doesn't have much problem. I weigh 73 kgs. So it is beneficial for short riders but for healthy people, they should first test drive it to see if it fits their purpose while clearing speed breakers and potholes. 4. High-end performance - this bike lacks high-end performance and red lines on 125-130kmph. Also, the wind blast is high due to being a naked streetfighter. Overall for city riding it doesn't have much problem.

My Experience With Honda Hornet 2.0

Honda Hornet 2.0 offers good mileage and comfort but I am regretting my decision to buy it. The maintenance of the bike is very costly and there is some problem with the engine as well and I had a bad experience with after-sale service.

    active and furious

My Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a roadster bike. It prioritizes fuel efficiency and manageable power delivery for city riding and occasional highway cruising, Its mileage of around 36.2 kmpl . It features disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, providing good stopping power. It is a is a good choice for riders, especially for my family . However, its power output might be less compared to some other Royal Enfield bike , and it lacks features available on premium bikes.

I like but this is average bike

The taste of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 excites riders with its modern cruiser influence that engages the old-time engine design. The car's relaxed seating area, smooth running engine, and nimble handling for both city and highway trips earned itself a reputation amongst customers as a pleasing car to drive. The bike's trendy look, the LED lighting, and the features such as Bluetooth connectivity from the latest esinal era ride to tailor the needs of the techno-aficionados. Nonetheless, if we consider the misses, we should state that there was a wish for improved wind protection at higher speeds, and to that sentiment, the manufacturers of the bikes should address this issue by making the braking system for added security.

I have been riding the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle. It has been an enjoyable experience. As someone who loves motorcycles, I appreciate its classic look and powerful engine. The Hunter 350 is one of the most affordable cruiser bikes in its range. This makes it accessible to many riders. However, I noticed the ride can be bumpy on rough roads. The stock seat could use more padding for longer trips. Despite these minor issues, its timeless style and dependable engine make it a great choice for riders who want a classic cruiser experience.
