Q. CBR650R or Z900, which is better?
  • Selecting between the Kawasaki Z900 and Honda CBR650R would depend on your preference of the segment and your budget. The Z900 is priced at Rs. 8.34 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Kawasaki Z900 is powered by a 948cc, inline-four cylinder engine that puts out 125PS of power and 98.5Nm of peak torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. To justify this price hike, Kawasaki has added a bunch of new goodies on the BS6 Z900. It gets electronic aids such as four riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain and Manual), a three-level traction control system, and two power modes. This is a big update as the previous Z900 didn't have as many electronic goodies. On the styling front, the Kawasaki Z900 BS6 gets an LED headlight and a new TFT instrument console that adds to the premium factor. On the other hand, Honda CBR650R is priced at Rs. 8.88 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price, Delhi ). CBR650R is powered by the 649cc, liquid-cooled, the inline-four engine has been updated for a stronger mid-range. In its BS6 guise, it now puts out 87PS at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm at 8500rpm. CBR650R 2021 comprise new graphics, a revised LED headlight reflector profile, and a USB Type-C under-seat charging socket. • Definitely Cbr650r. It has better aerodynamic + 25kmph mileage + high Rpm + great looks
  • Depends what fancy you, honda is more subtle but the z is a maniac, I found her quite a handful and decided to go for the more timid honda, plus service and spares are cheaper as compared to the Kawasaki's

    Best Ride

I've been riding this bike for quite some time, and I must say that its power, short pickups, handling, engine timing, and sitting posture were all excellent. Additionally, the mileage was impressive. That's why I have a strong liking for this CBR 650.

    Lovely machine

Have been owning this lovely machine since the past 7 years now.But every time i twist the throttle it feels as crisp as day one.It was a childhood dream of owning a kawasaki ninja ever since i had been watching a green ninja in our locality when i was about 15 years old. This bike is a bag full of everything you need to quench your thirst about motorcycle riding. It is always ready to take anything from bumper to bumper traffic as well as long hauls on the highway. The low and linear torque is what makes it special to be ridden in any riding environment. Its 650cc, 72bhp mill amazes you with a linear pick up, Non tiring long highway riding comfort, As well as its super efficient fuel economy. This kwacker is a daily riding calm machine.Tell you take it on the highway and unleash it to see a completely different side of it.And all this at a very affordable service cost with usual service intervals of 6months or 5-6k kms which i follow comes to around 5000-6000₹ depending on consumbles.Just remember not to drop the bike because kawasaki is a pocket burner in such repair costs.Overall it is one of the best big motorcycles available in the indian market today.

    It is an excellent commuter.I

It is an excellent commuter.I rode it every day 100km.It is tolerable on rides of 2-3 hours.I have not had any mechanical issues with it in 34000 km.It is fast enough and very stable. My commute speeds usually ranged from 100 - 150 kmph no problem.I have driven the bike on trips and commutes as fast as 185kmph.It is not a superbike but it will leave most cars and traffic in my rearview.

    Long rides

I own the bike and i can tell it's really good if you want to go on long rides or make hilly trips. But i would suggest you to change the exhaust to get some ground clearance. The tires are good but not so good on sharp turns on high speeds.
