Price: The BGauss RUV 350 is available in three variants: the RUV 350i EX priced at Rs 1,09,999, the RUV 350 EX at Rs 1,24,999, and the top-end RUV 350 Max at Rs 1,34,999. All prices are ex-showroom with the EMPS 2024 (Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). The scooter gets 5 colour options.
Features: The Bgauss RUV 350 features a 5-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity that includes call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. It also has two display modes, document storage, ride statistics, and service reminders. It gets an all-LED lighting setup and also comes with a USB charging port. Additional features include reverse mode, cruise control, hill hold assist, and a side-stand engine cut-off function. It gets a luggage hook at the front apron and a single-piece grab rail at the rear. The 4.5-litre floorboard storage space is quite decent but the 15-litre underseat storage space is smaller than other scooters in the market. It also has a 2.2-litre mobile pocket.
Motor: The BGauss RUV 350 is equipped with an IP67-certified hub-mounted motor linked to a 3kWh battery pack. It has a 2.4kW rated power, 3.5kW peak power and 165Nm torque. It goes 0 to 40kmph in 5.8 seconds and has a 75kmph top speed. The base and mid variants come with a 90km claimed range and the top has a 120km claimed range. The manufacturer offers three different capacity chargers. The 500W charger charges the battery and takes 6 hours and 50 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent, the 840W charger takes 3 hours and 55 minutes, and the 1350W charger juices it up in 2 hours and 35 minutes.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The electric scooter sits on a tubular chassis. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and monoshock. It gets 130mm drum brakes on both ends. The electric scooter comes fitted with 16-inch alloy wheels and has an 80-section front and 90-section rear tyre. Moreover, the scooter has a 785mm seat height, 160mm ground clearance, 122kg kerb weight and a 150kg payload capacity.
