Driving experience good, Mileage 10km/l, Bad suspension gives back pain, Not strong, Good aircondition, Service charges high 10000/-, Fraud in express centers, Robs tyres, Battery, Does nothing of maintenance, Insurance very high, Toyota brand diluted with maruti making it classless

Both cars are good. If you go for safety ,Ford figo is better, durable and heavier.maintenance charge and engine reliability handling Liva is good.

Q. I wanted to buy a new car. I have selected three cars 1. Toyota Etios Liva diesel 2. Honda Jazz diesel 3. Hyundai i20 Elite diesel. My purpose mainly city driving. I have 3 shops so I have to drive from one shop to other. My average km is around 75 km per day. So which car should I choose.

I'm using liva since 2012 and one thing I must share is that I drive it on my reflexes only. If you drive in proper recommended way, 300-400 km driving is just a fun. I have done it so many times without getting tired. It never shivers even at 120-140 kmph (on express highways). In city goes smooth in crowd @5-10 kmph. The shape in terms of driving comfort is so good that I do never care if the front part is passed in a narrow situation, the rear portion passes away as a rule. There is no unnecessary elevation to touch other vehicles on road. AC vents position is best and optimally designed. The looks and shape may be not be as good as i20 or Baleno. The interiors and light body may not be very exciting in comparison to others. But driving comfort is cheerful. I have Baleno too since last 3 years but still feel addicted to liva. The low maintenance cost is only around 3000 per year for first 5 years and slightly higher after that is an additional tension-free experience. On other cars it becomes a big headache, I got three different rates on same authorised workshop of maruti when I sent my driver for same routine service. He was smart enough to save further after negotiation when the work was completed. Still it was 1.5 times higher than what we still have pay to Toyota.
