Excellent vehicle great mileage but not safety.Enough that is price is very low so safety features low.

Renault kwid is very stylish and attractive car.Car size is little small but very useful in traffic areas.Inside car is enough specious to provide us comfortable seating with capacity of 4 passengers.Car's technology features and controls are user-friendly & very easy to use.Car's engine power & mileage is more than enough to provide us good driving experience.Renault is also focus on safety services of kwid.In terms of safety, Kwid come with features likes air-bag, Abs(anti lock braking system) with ebd(electronic brakeforce distribution), Sear belt reminder & speed alert system etc.

Also, higher ground clearance of 184mm means the car is capable of handling bad roads with ease. However, the engines on offer lack punch especially out on the highway. Q. Kwid 1000 v/s 800 differences?
  • Renault offers the Kwid in five variants: Std, RXE, RXL, RXT and Climber. While the first four variants are offered with a 0.8-litre engine, the 1.0-litre engine is limited to the RXL, RXT and Climber variants. Even the AMT is limited to the 1.0-litre engine option. The Renault Kwid is offered with two petrol engine options: a 54PS 0.8-litre unit and a 68PS 1.0-litre option. Both engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
  • Even if you buy 1000, the engine performance is poor. Just slightly more powerful than 800, but lower mileage. For city commute 800 is sufficient. Highway or fully loaded car will need 1L engine.
  • Go in for 1000cc as 800cc is sluggish
